Consignment Sales going on this Fall

The fall season is upon us, which means we are starting to put away our summer tank tops and pull out the sweaters. I love fall! I love everything about it. I love the smells, the colors, the cool air- LOVE FALL! Seriously, I do. One thing that I love about fall are the consignment sales that are going on in Hampton Roads. Consignment sales that encourage you to get rid of clothes that don't fit, make room for winter clothes, and put a little extra cash in your pocket!

Last spring I attended the Kids Exchange Consignment Sale and had a blast. I sold back some of Maggie's clothes and toys that she no longer needed (of course the super cute ones I kept in case we have another girl) and volunteered at the sale so I could make a higher percentage back. Not only did I make a little money, but I got to meet some really sweet moms while doing it. The girls in charge of the Kids Exchange are organized and helpful and I met a couple other moms that were really nice too. And it's fun tagging and pricing. Even my hubby got in on the "tagging action."

I highly recommend checking out the Kids Exchange and/or some of these other consignment sales that are going on this fall. Even if you don't have time to sell this season, at least go there to shop and see what they are all about. I will probably be shopping at most of these sales because I LOVE a good deal! Here are the details about a few consignment sales going on this Fall:

Kids Exchange
This weekend (Sept. 20-22) is Part 1 of the Kids Exchange at St. Matthews Catholic School Gym (at 3316 Sandra Lane in Virginia Beach). If you are selling, you can drop your tagged items off from 6 - 10 PM on Friday evening. Sell clothes, shoes, accessories, large items, and furniture at this sale. Shop hours are:

Saturday:
Super Work Exchanger's Private Sale- 7:30 -9:00 AM
Work Exchanger's Private Sale- 8 - 9 AM
Seller's / Consignor's Private Sale- 9 - 10 AM
Public Sale- 10:30 AM - 9 PM

Sunday:
1/2 Price Work Exchanger's Private Sale- 8 - 9 AM
1/2 Price Public Sale- 9:30 AM - 5 PM
Unsold Item Pick-Up- 7 - 9 PM

Part 2 of the Kids Exchange will be November 8-10 at the same place and hours are the same. At this sale, you can sell back toys, games, books, infant items, accessories, large items, and furniture (everything that doesn't hang).

Mothers of Multiples Sale
Saturday, April 13th from 8 AM - 2 PM the Mothers of Multiples Sale will be held at The Church of the Ascension at 4853 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach. You can buy toys, children's clothing, furniture, etc. Cash only! Get there early because there is usually a long line outside.

Fall & Winter Swap & Shop
Saturday, November 2nd from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM. This will be held at Hampton University College on the 10th floor of the building that PF Chang's is in. Bring things you are no longer using that are kid related (maternity, infant, toddler, teens). A one time $2 fee will be collected at the door to cover the purchase of the bag you will be able to put things in. Please only take as much as you brought to swap.
